I don't know much about the laws of motion, but this much I know mathematically speaking.

Given:
I made some cookie dough yesterday (for making cookies)
There is a mouse in my house that likes to hide out under the stove
I don't like the mouse and want to make it uncomfortable for the mouse to be under the stove
Turning on the stove makes the mouse uncomfortable
Turning on the stove facilitates baking cookies
Using a cookie sheet to bake several cookies is more clean up than using a small pan to bake one large cookie the size of your face
Eating a cookie the size of your face is delicious with cold milk from the carton
Eating a cookie the size of your face necessitates exercise
Running for 40 minutes and then stepping into a pothole and rolling your ankle 1/2 a block away from your apt is painful.

Therefore:
cookies = pain

sweet, delicious pain
