darn good weekend

This last weekend was pretty cool. It was no Catskills weekend, but that's not a fair comparison to make. I took a nap, cleaned my room, got out of class serendipitously early, went to Central Park to meet Petey and Barnhart, ate dinner with Richard Gordon-Smith, Alejandro, Stevey, Petey and Stevey's visiting sister, Libby, watched Snakes on a Plane on Stevey's magic editing machine, broke out into random song and dance whenever the heck I felt like it, did my rodeo hair with my new old-woman velcro rollers (that I paid actual money for) and played a wicked game of Upwords with Megan...also did I mention we watched Snakes on an Ever-loving Plane? I wouldn't recommend it to anyone (even edited) on the record, but off the record I can't say that I'm sorry I watched it either. Anyway, it was a fab weekend and the only reason I'm breaking the blog silence now is because Megan made me do it!!! You can blame her for the lameness.




In other news, I have 4 months and 10 days until I don't have to teach anymore ever forever. Also, in 2 days I'll be in Mexico. Also, I am officially off of academic probation. Also, it's another weekend and it can only get better from here. You wish your life were as cool as mine, I know.
